I was born, raised, and still live in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. I am a mother of three, and my granddaughter is the sixth generation living in our family home. Before beginning my educational career, I held a position as an Executive Secretary and Physical Therapist Assistant at the International Longshoreman’s Association Medical Center. I worked for five years as the Payroll Secretary & Treasurer of Brooklyn High School of the Arts on Dean Street. Prior to that, I worked as an Administration Assistant at AHRC’s Brooklyn Blue Feather Elementary School, a school that serves autistic children.

Welcome Families! It is such an honor to be a part of the community and culture here at PS107. I look forward to working together with the staff to provide a safe and warm environment for your children to learn and grow. Most recently, I was employed as a family worker with the Department of Education working with the school psychologist and social worker to establish or reevaluate IEPs for students with special education needs, being a resource to families throughout the IEP process. I have also worked in an elementary school afterschool program as a lead first grade teacher, working with students during recess and classroom time. I hope to use both my work and life experience to assist you in navigating these formative years. My door (or email) is always open!
