One Special Tiger: The Story of Zolushka

Under the direction of the Beast Relief committee, P.S. 107 fifth graders wrote and illustrated One Special Tiger: The Story of Zolushka, the true story of a Siberian tigress from Russia who was rescued by hunters, rehabilitated, and successfully released back into the wild. The year-long project was a collaboration between P.S. 107’s Beast Relief committee and the Wildlife Conservation Society. All proceeds from sale of the book will go directly to the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Siberian Tiger conservation program. The book is available for purchase at
