Want to start helping animals at your school? Here’s how to start your own Beast Relief committee – in six easy steps.
BEAST RELIEF TOOLKIT:
Step 1: BEAST MASCOT
Download the Beast Relief logo below. Add your school’s name to the scarf as well as under our beautiful rhino.
Step 2: BEAST LIT
Tell your school community about the wonders of your star animal and the dangers it faces. Share amazing facts that will shock and delight.
Step 3: BEAST ART
To kick off Year of The Rhino, we invited the school community to design rhino and oxpecker silhouettes. We then crafted these into an artwork that now hangs in the hallway of our school. Use these images to create your own artwork.
Step 4: BEAST BANK
Create Rhino or other beast banks for a fun, expressive way to collect spare change for your animal of the year.
Step 5: BEAST BROADCAST
We created an educational, fun video about rhinos, narrated by a student, and showed it in our classrooms. Watch and share with friends and family, or create your own!

Step 6: BEAST DRIVE
Each Spring, we hold a Cinco de Rhino spare-change drive to benefit the International Rhino Foundation. Gathering up the school community’s spare change to benefit animals is a great way to end the year.
