A group of first graders recently visited the neighborhood bookstore Powerhouse on 8th to read books about dogs to specially trained therapy dogs, who listened attentively while the children practiced their reading! The event, now in its third year, was organized by the PS107 Beast Relief Committee. Thanks to Powerhouse on 8th for welcoming the canine invasion and to the Good Dog Foundation for providing the dog teams. Brooklyn Paper covered the event; click here to read the story.
